
After being awakened before dawn a second time to cover another murder scene, I took my reporter’s portfolio down the street to the city’s largest ad agency. On the strength of the writing I had done as an AP stringer and beat reporter for our CBS affiliate station, I was hired as a junior copywriter and was mentored in the craft by one of the legends of the business.
I have never looked back.
Forty years later, I have put in my 10,000 hours writing for my corporate clients in industries ranging from agriculture and engineering to medicine and the law. My most recent work includes:

- Website copy, including articles (most were ghost-written) and description pages

- Magazine articles (I was Executive Editor of a popular print/online companion-horse magazine)
